The Big Basket-of-Books Contest!

For Romantic Times this year, me and sixteen amazing other authors got together and ran a fun little contest. We handed out brochures and peeps got to run around collecting signatures to be entered into a contest. The pay-off for their hard work was a grand prize of a nook (Thanks to the great Ann Aguirre!), first prize basket containing a book signed by each author (including the previously mentioned, mega-awesome Ann Aguirre, along with other most cool peeps like Shannon Delany, Leanna Rennee Hieber, Kady Cross, Sophie Jordan, Vicky Dreilling, Shana Galen, Delilah Marvelle, Maire Clairmont, Tessa Dare, Vivian Arend, Zoë Archer, Angie Fox, Laurie London, Caridad Piñeiro, Jessa Slade, and my most humble self 😉 ), second prize a bag of swag and a B&N gift certificate, and third prize a bag of swag and an iTunes gift card.  Phew! That was a mouthful.  Anyway, the contest was a smashing success and it was so cool to meet a bunch of new peeps and chit chat for a moment or two as we signed the brochure.  I know some people were just happy to collect the siggies of some of their very bestest, most favorite authors but there were a good number who went the extra mile and tracked us all down.  I wish we had prizes to hand out to all, hopefully the signature brochure is a bit of swag that they’ll cherish always. We did, however, have four very lucky winners, and they are….

For the Grand Prize of the Nook:

Kristie C.

The Big Basket of Books Winner:

Adila M.

The Barnes & Noble Gift Card and Swag Winner:

Connie N.

The iTunes Gift Card and Swag Winner:

Emily H.

(So sorry, no picture of the winner, but the contents of the bag on the far right got put in a box and shipped to her home so I’m sure she’s smiling too!)
